Water Meter Retirement Clocks
For the last several years, we have been commissioned by the Austin Water Meter Operations Division to create retirement awards out of water meter housings by mounting them on walnut bases and inserting clocks into the bronze casings. These older housings are also being retired as the utilities modernize. Unlike the newer models, these housings were “industrial art”. These clocks are a fitting tribute to those who have served many years as our meter readers.
